Mark Scholes Awarded AIMS Fellow

mark scholes 280AIMS Member Mark Scholes, a Registered Mine Surveyor, has been awarded the prestigious title of AIMS Fellow at the recent 2024 AIMS National Conference.

Mark's extensive career has been based in Mine Engineering, Mine Planning, Surveying and Technical Sales & Services Management. He joined Fyfe in 2018 and has been integral to their NSW Survey team, managing complex projects across resources, mining, local government, and renewables.

Mark became a Registered Mine Surveyor in 1986, and his distinguished career has spanned over four decades. He has held various roles in Australia and internationally, excelling in survey consulting and geospatial software. Mark has also significantly contributed to the industry through mentoring and auditing, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience.

Fyfe’s General Manager, Surveying, Chris Moore, said, “Mark’s professional experience and industry contributions have earned him this recognition, highlighting his impact on the industry. The AIMS Board congratulates Mark on being awarded a Fellow  of the Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors.
