As part of the Conference will be our Gala Dinner brought to us by our Platinum Sponsor CR Kennedy, during the dinner we will be holding an auction and raffle to raise funds for one of our own in Jesse Langley and his family.

Jesse Langley is a surveyor who was working here in Western Australia on mining and infrastructure projects.  Earlier this year his 5-year-old son, Jonah, was diagnosed with brain cancer, and given an estimated 12 months to live.  Jesse, his wife Courtney, Jonah & their daughter Kora have departed to the United States to seek treatment at the Seattle Childrens Hospital which is world-class in paediatric neurology and oncology, however because of the location of the tumour, the only plan they could offer was one round of radiation and no long term hope.  Since then, Jesse’s family have pursued alternative treatments and are now working with a clinic that specialises in the therapies and treatments they are seeking for Jonah.   They have completed the first 3 sessions and are now at the start of Jonah’s healing journey.

As Jesse will not be able to bring in any income during this time, AIMS are supporting Jesse through a fundraiser during our conference to help alleviate some of the financial burden they're facing. The funds raised will go towards Jonah's medical expenses, travel costs for treatment, and any additional support the family may need during this challenging period.

Throughout the Conference we will be selling raffle tickets which will be drawn at the Gala Dinner. We will also be having an auction on the night of a few special items. All money raised will go directly to the Langley family.

Full program will give you a total of
7 Mine Survey Points + 4.25 Survey Practice Points
